Madonna Launches Hard Candy Gym In Mexico  Madonna |
Queen of Pop Madonna has inaugurated her first gym Hard Candy in Mexico City. The launch event was filled with lots of excitement as the singer herself taught a short dance lesson to the members of the gym.
The Hard Candy Fitness is inspired by 52-year-old’s eleventh studio album which rocked the chartbusters in 2008.
“It``s a sexy name that gives you the opportunity to have fun and to build strength as far as the imagination will allow,” Madonna was quoted as saying.
For the new venture the singer has teamed up with her manager and New Evolution Ventures. The beauty is planning to launch her chain of fitness centers around the world but gave Mexico City first preference as she loves the spirits of the people.
“Our plan is to use Mexico as a place to fine-tune our brand and then expand it to other countries,” added Madonna.
Chris Dedicik, the man who helped Madonna create the gym, said, “She chose the graphics, colours, the machines. She has weighed in on the choreography of all the classes and given them a twist to make them more dynamic, more special and to better reflect her style.”
Madonna concluded saying, “If any of you have seen my shows, you know that I don``t skimp on them and the same is true for the gym. We spend what it takes to make a globally first-class gym.”
