LG Electronics has launched two new classy handsets, the GU285 and the GU220 in India.
“The new phones are an extension of our unique offerings in the Buzz series that promises to give our users benefits of mega multimedia for entertainment on the move. The extensive basket of features, make these phones a preferred choice for consumers who demand for more. The GU285 is a compact slider phone with 5.6cm screen. It comes with many features like camera, Bluetooth, video telephony, Internet browsing via EDGE technology, expandable memory up to 8 GB, FM, MP3, games and news.
For the camera enthusiasts, there are two cameras - one 1.3MP smart camera at the back and another VGA camera at the front to take your own photos. The music lovers will also get lots of amusement through FM Radio and MP3 player with 6 built-in equalizer.
More to it, there are so many applications with this GU285 phone that can mesmerize a user like RockeTalk to connect to instant messengers like Gtalk or Yahoo, Live Cricket Action via Just Cricket's Cricket Simulation, Favorite Regional Newspapers via News Hunt, Buy Games to provide thrill from Ferrari GT, Diamond Twister and Sudoku etc.
The GU285 is 3G enabled and has an excellent download speed. Apart from that, it can set up to 5 email accounts for a user. The phone offers 10 hrs of talk time and 580 hrs of standby time.
The LG GU285 is priced at Rs. 6500.
Next in the series comes the LG GU220, which is a slider phone with an elegant metallic finish and seamless slide Keypad. It sports a large 5.6cm screen that can proffer home screen experience to the user. Apart from that, this phone has the features like a VGA Camera, FM recording facility, faster connectivity, faster browsing and downloading speeds.
The LG GU220 is available at Rs. 4500.
