LePhone has launched the first ‘triple SIM’ mobile phone for the Indian market. The company for the first time came up with the ‘triple SIM’ handset by launching the ‘A10’ model.
 
The phone comes equipped with features including2.2-inch display, FM Radio, 3D sound stereo speaker, 3 mega pixels flash camera, GPRS and USB. The phone works on 2GSM + 1CDMA technology.
 
The A10 model supports 300 minutes of talktime and 150 hours of standby time. According to sources, the phone has ben priced at Rs. 4,990.
 
The launch of triple SIM phone by LePhone comes when the market is being flooded with dual SIM handsets. The dual SIM handsets became popular in Indian market with more Chinese and Korean handset makers entering the market.
 
Competition from these mobile companies are so high that even major mobile makers including Nokia, Samsung and LG started coming out with dual SIM mobile phones. Now the arrival of triple SIM phones could prompt other companies to come up with such devices.
