This engrossing movie ‘Shutter Island’ is a suspense thriller movie of different upbeat starred by noted actor Leonardo DiCaprio in the main lead role is made by renowned filmmaker Martin Scorsese that has catched with the fever of the people.

 

‘Shutter Island’ thriller movie is based upon an insane asylum has made a powerful impact at the U.S. and Canadian box offices of about cool $22.7 million in the second consecutive weekend.

 

The new release of Bruce Willis ‘Cop Out’ an action-comedy is listed in the second position which is making a gross amount of $18.2 million and is produced by  Time Warner Inc.’s Warner Bros.

 

Marketing of the film was really applauseable, Gitesh Pandya, editor of Box Office Guru LLC stated, “Shutter Island,” the first release this year from Viacom Inc.’s Paramount Pictures, stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a detective investigating a missing patient at the asylum. It has made $75.5 million in the past two weeks and had the biggest opening weekend ever for both Scorsese and DiCaprio. The marketing was really good.”

 

Applauded as a solid thriller this movie 'Shutter Island' appeals to all adult audiences, Pandya further added, “It was really marketed as a solid thriller from an Oscar-winning director that can appeal to all adult audiences.”

 

This outstanding film of Leonardo is expected to create a further furor by at the box office in the future.
