India’s nightingale Lata Mangeshkar will be crooning for a Bengali song which will be shot on the Bollywood actress Rituparna Sengupta, who has expressed that, it is definitely a ‘double honour’ for her. Lata Mageshkar has not lent her voice for any Benagli movie for quite a long period.

Lataji will be crooning the song for the Benagli movie, "Amar Bhalo Laga Amar Bhalobasha".

"It's anyway an honour that I'll be in a song sung by Lataji. And when I got to know that she is singing in Bengali films after many years, I felt doubly honoured to be cast in that song," said Rituparna Sengupta in a statement.

The actress, who has earned critical acclaim for her performance in "Pati, Patni Aur Woh", will now be seen in "Love Khichdi" with Randeep Hooda.

Love Khichdi is scheduled to hit the silver screens on Aug 28.
