Konkana Sen Sharma opted for a small Arya Samaj wedding and she got married to beau Ranvir Shorey in a very hush-hush affair at the Goregaon residence of the actors, where the two were living for the past 2 years.
The ‘private affair’ was attended by the immediate relatives and closest of the friends at their apartment. Konkana’s mother Aparna and father Kalyan Roy graced the occasion along with Ranvir’s father Mukul and mother Vinita.
Konkana’s elder sister Kamalini also came from Kolkatta to attend the closed-door wedding of the two actors.
A close source adds, “They both wanted a discreet and intimate affair and that’s how it was.” The wedding was far away from the media coverage; in fact their pictures of wedding are also not available to them.
Ranvir and Konkana’s story started on the sets of the movie ‘Mixed Doubles’ in the year 2006 and both of them got engaged without any fan fare in the year 2008. Since, then the couple was living in an apartment and finally entered the wed-lock on Friday.
