Sweden-based high performance supercar maker, Koenigsegg, is likely to launch its Agera model in the Indian market. Koenigsegg is planning to sell the car at whopping Rs. 10 crore.

Sweden-based high performance supercar maker, Koenigsegg, is likely to launch its Agera model in the Indian market. Koenigsegg is planning to sell the car at whopping Rs. 10 crore, according to sources.
 
The car had won the prestigious BBC Top Gear Hypercar of the Year Award in December 2010.
 
Koenigsegg Agera has the acceleration speed of 0-100 km/h or 0-62 mph in 3.1 seconds, 0-200 km/h 8.9 seconds and 0-200-0 km/h 13.7 seconds. The car can offer a top speed of 390+ km/h 245+ mph and the braking distance at 30.5m 100-0 km/h. Agera’s weight-to-power ratio is at 1.42 kg/hp.
 
The company had revealed information about the car at Geneva Motor Show in 2010. Koenigsegg Agera’s sports a stylish steel body with metallic finish and has a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine developed by Koenigsegg. The vehicle also boasts a 7-speed gearbox and Koenigsegg built Vortex generating aluminium wheels with centre locking system.
 
The supercar features two-seater and two-door with removable hardtop that comes with glass roof. Besides, the super luxury car sports dual airbags for safety, sport ABS, power steering, power brakes, USB connection, climate control, digital warning and info system and roof stowage bag.
