With Dhobi Ghat Bollywood will get two fresh faces Monica Dogra and Kriti Malhotra, thanks to Kiran Rao for that.

 

 Kiran Rao has discovered two fresh faces for her flick Dhobi Ghat which is all set to get released on Friday. The movie also stars Aamir Khan and Pratik Babbar.

 

Monica who is a singer by profession had never thought of becoming an actress until Kiran discovered the hidden actress in her and offered her the role.

 

Monica Dogra said excitedly, “I do still wake up and pinch myself on that aspect. I didn't think acting in an Aamir Khan film was an intention of mine, but I’ve always been an actor.”

 

Even Kriti Malhotra was far away from acting as she was in the costume department of film industry but, Kiran found her too. She said, "During one particular scene in the film, it’s my longest scene, I really had to give everything to get it right. We did lot of takes to get it right and Kiran had the conviction and she wanted to wait for that one particular take."
