Being the brand ambassador for ‘Nakshatra’, the Indian diamond jewelry brand, Katrina graced the ramp of the first ever Indian International Jewelry Week in Grand Hyatt, Santa Cruz.

 

The inaugural day of the first jewelry week had the most amazing collection from the leading jewelry brands like Gitanjali, Amrapali, Tanishq, Ganjam, Mirali and Nakshatra. Katrina was seen wearing a light peach ruffled lehenga with a dense jewel encrusted top by famous designer Neeta Lulla on the ramp.

 

Katrina displayed a delightful collection of a diamond set that was based on the traditional seven-stone floral cluster design of the Nakshatra brand.

She added on the occasion, “It's an iconic brand because it’s not just a jewelry brand, it symbolizes the Indian woman."

The beautiful actress also unveiled a new bangle collection by Nakshatra based on the theme of ‘divine circles’, it was a special shot of the day.

 

Katrina also reveals about her personal choice of jewelry and adds, “Jewelry is something that becomes all the more special when it is gifted. My favorite piece of jewelry is a pendant that was gifted to me. It has a religious symbol on it, something from the Quran. That piece is very special to me."

The show will present with the collection from 30 jewelry designers like including Farah Khan Ali, Varun D. Jani, Bina Goenka and Rhea Nasta. Katrina also revealed that she would like to wear a green-colored outfit on her wedding day.
