Julianne Moore’s ‘Freckleface Strawberry’ To Be Turned Into Musical
Hollywood actress Julianne Moore is on cloud nine after she learned that her children's book series ‘Freckleface Strawberry’ will be turned into a stage musical.
The beauty made her literary debut with Freckleface Strawberry, a story of a young girl learning to love the skin she's in.
Moore quoted, "It's really exciting and fun, and kind of amazing and given my history as a performer, super-weird to be in this other position.”
"Everybody should enjoy it, but remember that Freckleface Strawberry is seven years old. That's the character, so I wanted to make sure that in the jokes and the humour, we stay within that, because that's the charm," she added.
The 46-year-old star is married to director Bert Freundlich and has two children, a son, Caleb and daughter, Liv Helen.
Buddy Crutchfield will don the director’s hat for the musical while the act will be choreographed by Gail Pennington Crutchfield. However, the cast has not been announced yet but will reportedly feature adults in the children's roles. Preview is slated to begin from Sep 9.
