Hollywood’s most wanted actor Johnny Depp has revealed that he is willing to work with director Rob Marshall again. The actor is left impressed with Marshall’s working style, who is currently filming ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ that stars Depp in the lead role.
The actor admitted that he is looking forward to star in filmmakers’ next venture, ‘The Thin Man’, the remake of the 1934 master piece.
“The Thin Man` has long been a favourite of mine and with Rob at the helm, I know we`re in great hands," said Depp.
The original ‘The Thin Man’ which is a comic detective flick was directed by W.S. Van Dyke. The film starred William Powell and Myrna Loy as Nick and Nora Charles.
The story follows the flirtatious married couple who banter wittily as they solve crimes with ease. Nick is a hard drinking retired detective and Nora a wealthy heiress. Their dog, the Wire-Haired Fox Terrier Asta, played by Skippy, was also a popular character.
