John Tesh acknowledged on Monday that he had dated talk show queen Oprah Winfrey .Confirming his short affair with Oprah, Tesh said,"Oprah and I were cub reporters in Nashville nearly 40 years ago and we dated for a short time.”
Kitty Kelley's "Oprah," discloses the couple’s short dating stint .The book will hit the stores on Tuesday. Reports say that Winfrey and the New Age musician were in living relationship during the 1970s in Nashville.
The book claims Tesh bolted in the middle of the night because of the "social pressure" of being half of an interracial couple. Tesh and Winfrey have not yet commented on Kelley's claim. Speaking about his relations with Winfrey, Tesh said media-persons."We remain friends to this day.”
