Jet Airways, the private air carrier of India, will be launching its Mumbai to Riyadh flight on Aug 6.
 
"The airline will launch four services a week on the Mumbai-Riyadh sector - on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays," Jet said in a statement.
 
Riyadh is the second destination for the Jet Airways in Saudi Arabia, the first one being Jeddah. Jet flies to six other cities in the Gulf.
 
The airline would fly the state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the Mumbai-Riyadh route.
 
According to Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, the CEO of Jet Airways, the launch of flight to the new sector is to reinforce the airline's position as a leading carrier in the Indo-Gulf sector.
 
Hyderabad- Dubai daily flights will be launched from Aug 16.  Mumbai-Bangkok flights will also be launched from the same day.
 
In addition the airline will also launch Kochi-Sharjah flight from Sep 1.
