American singer, Jessica Simpson’s father Joe Simpson has dismissed the reports that the singer will be judging the talent show “American Idol”.
According to sources, Jessica Simpson was supposed to join the line of celebrity guest judges including Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry and Mary J. Blige but Joe Simpson is forcing the singer to join the permanent seat of the judge’s panel alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi.
Joe Simpson has denied the reports and says, "So, I am in Thailand... But, of course, the (New York) Post says I am in town trying to get Jess to be the replacement for Paula Abdul.... Do the lies ever stop????"
