Jennifer Lopez is following the footsteps of Britney Spears and Carrie Underwood by making an appearance in U.S. sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’.

 

The singer/actress will play a self-help guru teaching women how to train men in relationships in an upcoming March, 2010 episode.

 

Underwood is also set to appear in a March installment of the programme, while Spears starred in the show in 2008.

 

Lopez's casting announcement comes just days after it was revealed she is joining the cast of Glee, as a cafeteria worker.
