The latest Hyundai Azrea is a revamp of the older one that received lukewarm response from American customers. The new Azrea promises a host of improvements that is sure to stand out in the luxury mid-size segment.

The car is available in two engine variants- a 3.3-litre V-6 or a 3.8-litre Lamba V-6 both mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The 3.3-litre DOHC V-6 produces around 260-hp of power and 233 lb/feet of torque. The 3.8-litre Lamba DOHC variant that also powers the Hyundai Genesis sedan and coupe delivers around 283-hp of power and 263 lb/ft of torque. The car’s transmission is developed in house and features lesser number of parts and hence is lighter than most other transmission units. On the outside, the car has undergone a number of changes including redesigned headlamps, updated grille and round fog lights. Other updates include 17-inch alloy wheels and new side mirrors with puddle lamps.

As the name suggests, the latest Azrea will be available next year onwards. Pricing details are currently unavailable.
