The much-delayed HTC Thunderbolt is now rumored to be launched on Thursday i.e. on March 17, according to sources. Several reports today carried news about the possible launch.
 
HTC’s most awaited 4G smartphone has been delayed due to various reasons. This time it is being reported that those who pre-ordered HTC Thunderbolt are getting calls and emails saying the release date as March 17. But still, others are being informed that they would be let known about this later this week.
 
Meanwhile, reports also say that the device’s status on Verizon website has been changed from ‘quantity on order’ to ‘quantity in stock’. But, as of now, there are no solid reports confirming the release date.
 
The HTC Thunderbolt smartphone was unveiled at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011. The smartphone comes equipped with high-end features like 4.3 inches wide WVGA capacitive touch screen display, Android 2.2 operating system, an 8 mega pixels camera with HD video capture capability, Dolby surround sound, DLNA support and the 4G-enabled device assures high-speed Internet.
