George Clooney Meets President Barack Obama To Discuss Sudan Crisis

George Clooney, renowned Hollywood actor, director and social activist, met President Barack Obama on Tuesday to discuss on Sudan crisis.
 
Clooney, who travelled across Sudan, discussed about the new threat of violence in Sudan. He met Obama in the Oval House at the White House.
 
“At one of the most politicised times ever, this is something that everyone agrees on. If there's some way to get ahead of this and stop it before it happens, we better,” Clooney was quoted as saying.
 
As the elections are slated in Sudan next year on January 9, Clooney has called for international pressure to stop violence.
 
Hollywood fame Clooney is well-known for his social activism, who has also represented as one of the United Nations Messengers of Peace since January 2008. Besides, he has also campaigned across Sudan for peace.
