Dev Anand is the classic hero of the 70’s who is better known for his unique style. Now, the man is 87 years old, but looks like somebody in his last 60’s. He has surprised everyone by acting in a movie called ‘Chargesheet’. This legendary actor has proved that age is not a barrier for seeking one’s passion.

Dev Anand has given some of the biggest hits in the Bollywood, with ‘Guide’ and ‘Jewel Thief’ being the most remembered one. When everyone had almost forgotten about his existence, he is set to roll again and that too in the role of a CBI officer in ‘Chargesheet’.

A passionate Dev Anand adds, “I had gone to Nepal when I got the flash of this idea. Initially I did not pay much attention to it. But then, I worked on it and realized it could actually make a very interesting subject for a film.”

He doesn’t have anything which can prove that he is old, even  his sentences can’t make him sound so, he still has black hair and is not stuck to his bed.

Speaking about the new entrants in the film Dev says, “The film has two new boys and a girl. Mark my words; they have a great future in the film industry. I can cast any newcomer in my film the moment I find that they are talented.”

He also worked his head and toes to convince legendary singer Asha Bhosle to sing a song in his film and finally managed to get her.

Dev Anand adds, “I met Ashaji and told her about my project. I had to convince her but then eventually she agreed to sing.”

On his request, even politician Amar Singh agreed to make his guest appearance in the movie as Home Minister. In fact, some of the scenes of the movie are also shot in his house.

Dev Anand adds, “I called up Amar Singh and told him about the film. He immediately agreed to be a part of it. He also told me to come to Delhi and shoot in his house. So we have shot few scenes in his house too.”

After getting done with ‘Chargesheet’, Dev Anand is also planning to go for a remake of ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’.
