Courteney Cox soon became a star after she appeared as ‘Monica’ on worldwide hit popular TV show ‘Friends’ and then there was no looking back for her but the star has a regret which is that she never won or was even nominated for the prestigious Emmy awards.
Even today Courteney, 46 who has all the money to fulfil her wishes but Emmy is the only desire which is still unfulfilled of the actress.
In a recent interview with a magazine the actress admitted that her ego was hurt when she was the only star of the sitcom who had not earned any nomination.
"My ego got really bruised. When everyone did but me, that doesn`t feel good at all. There were certain years I thought, `Maybe I have a shot,` like the Monica-Chandler years. But I don`t know how it happens and why ... maybe I wasn`t ready."
Other stars of the show, Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston won Emmy awards for ‘Friends’ while David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry earned a nomination each. And everyone’s favourite Matt LeBlanc was nominated three times.
