Carla Bruni, the French First Lady who attracted lot of attention while filming for Woody Allen’s upcoming flick, ‘Midnight in Paris’ has reportedly been cut out from the movie.

It is believed that Bruni has been replaced by a young look-alike beauty Lea Seydoux in order to re-shoot all her scenes.

An insider quoted, "The American director has taken the precaution of filming the First Lady’s scenes with someone else.”

The 42-year old was in news for taking ample of time to film a few simple dramatic scenes.

"While there’s obvious novelty value in getting France’s first lady to carry a baguette around Paris, Lea is a far better actress. She’ll get people flowing into the cinemas, which in the end are what a professional film is all about," a source said.
