HTC Thunderbolt 4G
The much-touted HTC Thunderbolt 4G smartphone is now available with Best Buy retailer at $749.99 with no contract, the company announced.
 
The first 4G LTE-equipped smartphone HTC Thunderbolt is carried by Verizon Wireless telecom. The smartphone has a 4.3 inches wide WVGA capacitive touch screen display and is equipped with 8 mega pixels camera with HD video capture.
 
The phone is a CDMA variant of the HTC Desire HD. The phone sports 1GHz Snapdragon processor and runs on Google Android platform version 2.2 operating system.
 
HTC Thunderbolt 4G’s other notable features include Dolby surround sound, and DLNA support, high-speed Internet connectivity that one can download a song in less than 5 seconds. This is also the first Verizon phone that supports simultaneous Voice/Data over 3G without the help of Wi-Fi.
 
The HTC Thunderbolt 4G was first unveiled at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 6, 2011.
