Due to the merciless killing of thousands of Tamilians in Sri Lanka, the South Indian chamber of Films had restricted the going of movie stars to the place. But, Asin had to shoot for Anees Bazmi’s ‘Ready’ and she did it in Colombo. Now, she is getting boycotted by the association.

Palani Sundaram, chief of the Tamil organization says, “We will boycott films of Asin because of her visit to Sri Lanka despite a ban by the Tamil film industry.”

Asin replied to this and said that she already didn’t attend the IIFA film awards event held at Colombo, but even then she is getting questioned. It became her compulsion to go and shoot in Sri Lanka as it was the requirement of the film.

But, quite adamant at the point, Sundaram adds, “It was a question of protocol and could not do anything about it.”

Now, whatever movies Asin will enact in will be boycotted or banned, so it is going to be a big problem for her.
