Akon has quitted his new Radio job. The versatile singer recently agreed to host a two hour show every Saturday night on Capital FM radio station. But, because of his busy schedule the ‘Smack that’ hitmaker is forced to quit his new job.

His first programme was broadcasted on February 13. After that show the singer was not able to make it for the show and now the bosses of the Radio station has confirmed the reports that Akon will not return to the station.

The spokesperson for Global Radio, said, "Due to Akon's commitments, including working on a brand new album, we won't be broadcasting a regular show on 95.8 Capital FM for the time being. Our conversations about future shows are ongoing as we explore other opportunities that may work for both of us."
