Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is ‘the name’ of the Tinsel Town, since her entry into the industry; she has never looked back and is able to create benchmarks for others. Nothing surprises her now, not even getting promising offers from the Hollywood industry.
One interesting project that came to her was ‘Troy’ with actor Brad Pitt. She didn’t say a yes to the offer, due to her tight movie schedules and some intimate scenes with Brad Pitt.
Ash was also the top choice for the movies like ‘Seven Pounds’ and ‘Hancock’, but she said a no to these projects as well.
She adds on this, “It wasn`t about an attitude I had, or any inverted ideas about working overseas, it was simply about scheduling. I just didn`t have the time".
She further adds, “Michael Douglas came to India and did a press conference where he confessed that he had brought a script my way. And Will Smith was generous enough to be persistent twice over, for ‘Hancock’ and ‘Seven Pounds’.”
