Abhay Deol and Ritesh Deshmukh will join in the Dostana 2 team and they will be playing the role of gays in the movie.
The sequel of this comedy movie is a co-production of Karan Johar and UTV and the sequel will also have John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan as lead characters.
A source said, "The film had run into a bit of trouble, owing to the creative differences between the producer Karan Johar and director Tarun Mansukhani. But now, Karan and Tarun are on the same page."
The source added, "While Karan has now approved of the first part, Tarun is almost done with the second part and Karan is very happy with the way it is going. Shooting starts by November or December this year."
