Samsung ST500 is a 3.0' inch wide LCD touch screen digital camera that comes with 12.2 Mega Pixel with 4.6x Optical Zoom. It also has child mode, Blink Detection Mode and Smile Mode features for delivering excellent quality and memorable pictures. The Camera is built in a 99.8 X 59.8 X 19.1mm dimension and weighs 149g (without battery and card).
Design and FunctioningSamsung ST500 is a sleek ultra-slim digital camera that comes with a user-friendly interface. It is equipped with 1.5’ inch LCD Touch Screen along with 12.2 Mega Pixel with 4.6x Optical Zoom which assures sharpest pictures by offering Soft+, Soft, Normal, Vivid, Vivid+ Sharpness and 2.7mm Wide Angle Lens which is also flexible for shorter distance view and gives outstanding quality photos which can be even printed as poster sized photos. It includes Smart Auto feature where the camera analyzes color, brightness, motion and later the camera automatically adjusts to take the photo, and also has One Touch Shooting, Face Recognition Technology where the camera automatically adjusts the focus and exposures on up to 20 faces. It has Advanced Dual Image Stabilization (IS) feature that allows capturing translucent, blur-free pictures. The ISO range falls under the normal 80cm infinity whereas the Macro range is 5cm- 80cm (Wide) / 50cm - 80cm (Tele) and Super Macro varies from 3cm-8cm. It supports JPEG, EXIF, DPOF, Pictbridge file formats and has excellent image size ranging from 1024x768 to 4000X3000 pixels where the user can take the prints without any vague or pixel impression in the photos. It has Auto, Red-eye reduction, Fill-in flash; slow sync, Flash off, and Red eye fix flash modes which automatically detect and eliminate the red-eye from the pictures excellent images. The Camera comes with 55 MB Internal Memory and is compatible with SDHC/SD Cards.
