Farhan and Zoya Akhtar’s forthcoming film Luck By Chance is going to be a rather special one as it will feature their father Javed Akhtar and his wife veteran actress Shabana Azmi in guest appearances. Farhan will be producing Luck By Chance, whereas sister Zoya will be making her directorial debut with it. 

Though neither Javed nor Shabana are ready to divulge details about Luck By Chance, one hears that the couple will just pose as themselves in the movie. Confirming the news, Farhan Akhtar said, 'Yes, Shabana and my father are in the film. In fact everyone you know in the industry is going to be in Luck By Chance.’

He then adds, ‘Everyone breezes in and breezes out in different parts of the film. But 'Luck By Chance' is not a spoof on the film industry. A lot of the film fraternity will recognise itself in the film.’ Apart from Farhan Akhtar, the film will also star Isha Sharvani, Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia.

Unlike the film Om Shanti Om that featured the biggies of Bollywood together in one song, Luck By Chance will have the entire film industry in walk-on roles. Farhan Akhtar promises that this film is built on a totally new concept.
