This year the prestigious Lumiere Award goes to Zoe Saldana's ‘Avatar’ movie for best Live-Action 3D Feature, best 3D character (Neytiri, played by Zoe Saldana) and for marketing 3D content.

It seems this year belongs to ‘Avatar’ which has made the entire team proud of their contribution towards the film. Successively it has won three Lumiere Awards for Best Live-Action 3D Feature, Best 3D character (Neytiri, played by Zoe Saldana) and for marketing 3D content at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in the 3D Society’s first annual ceremony  in Hollywood on February 23.
 
In absence of the award winners the Lumiere Awards  were accepted by the ‘Avatar’s star Giovanni Ribisi.
 
While other winners of this prestigious award were Pixar’s family favourite ‘Up’ for the Best 3D Feature, Imax’s ‘Under The Sea’ 3D for the Best Documentary and Brendan Fraser was honored with the 3D Talent award for ‘Journey to the Centre of the Earth.
 
After this great success ‘Avatar’s eye must be on the Oscar award 2010 that is to be held on the first week of March. Three Cheers to your latest win! Hope you keep on adding your scores.
