The Zenith Computers on Thursday, August 29 joined the low-cost PC segment by introducing its new EcoStyle PCs that include a Rs 11,999 desktop PC and a Rs 14,999 laptop. These products were launched by Zenith in alliance with software giant Microsoft.

 

The company informed that these products carry the EcoStyle brand name as non-toxic materials are used to make them. Zenith CMD Raj Saraf, declared that 'the desktop model comes in three variants and are priced at Rs 11,999, including taxes and VAT.' Expect these PCs to be available in India around Diwali.

 

While buying these PCs, one will have the choice of selecting between AMD, Via or Intel processors. The buyers can also choose to get either a pre-loaded Windows Vista Starter or Microsoft Windows XP Home. Coming with a 15-inch CRT monitor, the desktops can easily be upgraded to a TFT LCD monitor for an added Rs 2,500.
