YouTube, which is planning to set up its movie rental service, is indulging in talks with the Hollywood studios. This proposal has been put forward by the company to increase the v, which in turn will allow Google to accumulate more profits from this website.

YouTube executives are indulging in discussions with Lions Gate Entertainment, Sony Corp, MGM and Warner Bros about charging for new movies on the site, the Wall Street Journal reported.

YouTube originally proposed allowing users to watch movies for free with advertisers picking up the cost, but the movie studios insisted on payments for both movie rentals and download at a rate of $3.99.

With this proposal, you can even view the latest movies via YouTube on the same day as it is released.

YouTube is by far the most popular video site on the web, with 428 million global visitors in June, according to web tracking firm Comscore.
