YouTube has brought new features in its video sharing service which will allow its users to share their videos on Facebook, Twitter and Google Reader. The new AutoShare options in YouTube automatically send updates of user's new video to his/her friends in Facebook, Twitter and Google Reader. Just like photo sharing, videos are going to be next phenomenon.
YouTube has been able bring new features in video sharing service by integrating with Facebook Connect. By implementing Facebook Connect YouTube will increase the engagement across the board. According Facebook, every site that has integrated with Connect has reported an increase in over-all activity. According to reports, last month Facebook Connect reached over 64 million users.
YouTube is not the first video site to integrate with Facebook. Earlier Joost has tied up with Facebook Connect in December and since then it has gained some serious benefits. Facebook Connect has reportedly integrated with Xbox and Nintendo DSi. Last month, YouTube has boasted about 20 hours of video being uploaded every minute on the video sharing service and now with AutoShare options, YouTube is expected to rope-in more and more users.
