Entertainment giant, Universal Studios has struck a 2.2 billion deal to create what could be the largest theme park attraction in the world, based on some all time favorite Hollywood classics. Hollywood classics like Jurassic Park, Shrek, King Kong, Wonder Woman are all set to find a place in world’s largest theme park playground in the Persian Gulf. The park is scheduled to open by 2010.

 

The theme park is speculated to become a major attraction in the middle east as Hollywood movies are one of the major source of entertainment in the region. Western fashions and films are particularly popular among the people of middle east, especially the young generation. Currently their are no major players in the theme park business in the Gulf region. According to some sources, Universal is also involved in talks with other film studios in a bid to seek permission to use their films in the park.
