Multiple Sclerosis is a progressive disease of the central nervous system, which is not only progressive, but also chronic in nature. It strikes people in the young and productive age and leads to severe crippling, though it is not fatal. The disease is most likely to target people in the age group of 20 to 50. However, one cannot complete discount the possibility of its occurrence in young children at the age of 10 and below as well. As to the most vulnerable group, it includes young females between 20 and 30 years of age.
