Wipro has opened its first BPO at Curitiba in Brazil to serve its client AmBey, the largest brewery in Latin America. Wipro BPO head Ashutosh Vaidya said that the new center will serve in accounting, procurement, HR services, loyalty services and knowledge services. He added that Wipro will offer help in implementing SAP and provide world class service delivery.

Renato Nahas Batista, Zone Head for AmBev feeling honored on the partnership said that the partnership with Wipro would transform his company's shared service centre across the southern continent. Vaidya opined that the partnership will accrue significant financial benefits and leverage transformation opportunities across AmBev operations in the region. 

Evidently, AmBev is among big brewery companies in South America. It has brands such as Brahma, Becks, Stella and Antarctica. Similarly, Wipro is one among top IT firms in India. Wipro, with latest venture in Brazil according to Vaidya will accrue significant financial benefits and leverage transformation opportunities across AmBev operations in the region.
