Wipro is actively exploring overseas acquisitions.
"As far as acquisition is concerned, we are already active in that area and we will continue to remain active. Our focus will remain on most emerging economies - it could be Asia Pacific, Middle East or Australia," said Wipro executive director and chief financial officer Suresh Senapaty.
"It should at least be a $30-million company," Senapaty told reporters during a seminar that was organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
When he was asked about recruitment in current scenario, he said that hiring will be done according to the demands of the generation. He added "As and when demand comes in, we can see hiring."
Talking on the plans of the company in pursuing Rs.2,500-crore outsourcing contract from Indian Railways, Senapaty said: "Government is focus area for us."
