The wife of famous American pianist cum singer and songwriter Billy Joel, Katie Lee Joel is in news these days for her culinary skills. A prolific when it comes to writing on food and lifestyle, Katie Lee Joel released her first cook book recently titled ‘The Comfort Table’ publisher by Simon & Schuster. Sources inform that Katie will be hitting Mohegan Sun for promoting her new cook book.
A lot of sweat and toiling went down into the compilation of The Comfort Table. Infact one will find healthy updates of traditional family recipes such as banana pudding pie, hoppin’ John salad and brown sugar bacon in her new book. The recipe of the all-time favorite food of her pop superstar husband ‘skirt steak’ has been mentioned too.
Katie Lee Joel claims to be a self-taught cook and has even appeared in a number of television programmes related to food and lifestyle. Her next mission is to whip up a book about entertainment. Katie wedded singer Billy Joel in 2004 at his home in Oyster Bay, Long Island. The couple presently resides in New York and Miami areas.
