The Pune district administration is up to stopping entertainment channel ‘Colors’ and it’s production house Endemol from shooting it in Lonavla, the TV industry has expressed its support over the issue.

The issue of stopping has come up due to the presence of various Pakistani participants; it is a record that Indian artists were never allowed in Pakistan for any show, so even the same should be done in India.

Poonam Dhillon, the last season participant and actress says, “I didn’t want to shoot under secrecy, though it was suggested that I do that. It was a long drawn out procedure to get permission from the home ministries of both countries. But after that, it was smooth sailing.”

Stand-up comedian Sunil Pal expresses his concern over the participation from the Pakistani’s, “If the artistes behave themselves and do not malign India, I think the show should continue. But, the minute they cross that line, the show must be shut down.”

Bakhtiyar Irani, ex participant of Bigg Boss also adds, “If someone had entered my house and killed my family members, I wouldn’t be welcoming anyone even from his distant family into my house.”

“Here, we’re treating them like national guests when our artistes are denied entry there. It’s high time we thought the issue through practically.”

Choreographer Sandip Soparrkar, actor Mouli Ganguly, says that feel that bridging gaps is possible only if sentiments are the same on both sides.
