Prachi Desai made her debut in the Bollywood industry with the movie ‘Rock On’. Although, she had quite an innocent and subtle character in the movie, but she was spotted by Milan Luthria as a poised, charming and honest actress. This time she will be seen opposite to Emran Hashmi in a very different role. One must know that what she has to say about ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’.

A very innocent image went for a makeover and this time, this cute, innocent looking actress will be seen quite intensively involved with Emraan. She looks like a perfect actress from the 70’s with a hint of style, beauty and sensuality.

She adds about her experience with Emraan and says, “Working with Emraan has been great as he has worked with so many new actresses and he is very patient. He has no hang- ups and doesn’t behave like a star. It is high time people start accepting him as an actor and not just a serial kisser.”

Emraan is popularly called the serial kisser of the Bollywood industry and Prachi is the recent addition to Emraan’s list to give some intimate scenes.

While Prachi confidently adds, “I don’t look at Emraan as a monster; and definitely not after this film. He has given so many hits, but all people talk about are his kissing scenes. He gets the best songs and I’m lucky I got one such song (Pee loon) with him.”

She also talks about her role in the movie and says that she was spotted by Milan Luthria in the movie ‘Rock On’. Prachi adds, “They wanted a new heroine, but when (director) Milan Luthria saw Rock On, he thought that I could do justice to the role. I guess I got lucky. I play a Muslim girl called Mumtaz who is conservative, poised, honest — it’s an intense role.”

This is my first period film. Frankly, I would say that you have to do your best in whatever little you get. Because, anyway, films are not made for you. Heroines have comparatively less to do in films. You have to give your best just to get noticed among National Award Winners like Ajay and Kangna and an excellent actor like Emraan.

The movie captures the life of two Mumbai dons and shows their eventual rise and fall in the underworld. The movie is releasing worldwide on July 30, it star casts, national award winner Ajay devgan, Kangana Ranaut, Emran Hashmi and Prachi Desai.
