What Is Emraan’s Career Turning Point?
Emran Khan is till now imaged as the Bollywood love boy, but his role as an underworld don in ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’ might be a turning point in his career. He will also be seen in a fit muscular physique and in a nicely tuned body in the movie. Prachi Desai plays opposite to the actor.
Milan Luthria directed, ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’ is a story set in the backdrop of 70’s and it showcases the rise and fall of two underworld dons. Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut and Prachi Desai are in the lead roles.
As per Emraan, the movie can be a turning point in his career and he says, “It's a turning point of my career. I have played mostly romantic and intense roles. On-screen criminals and underworld dons are mostly one-dimensional but here we have tried to give them an edge, to bring an emotional context... good songs so that the film becomes more colorful and not dark.”
Emran says that working with Ajay Devgan was a great experience for him and he adds, “Working with Ajay was a treat because he is such a great actor. To be in one frame and act with him is intimidating, but you get to learn lots of things.”
Emran will be seen in a 6 pack body, but surprisingly he is not really into the body building passion and he adds, “I hate this term six-pack. When Milan narrated the script he made sure that the character demands an overall muscular physique. Because of the action sequences, the toughness in the look was required.”
Although Emraan mostly plays the shades of negative character, but he is confident that the audience would accept and admire him the way he has acted in the movie.
