Waxpol Industries Limited, in an attempt to diversify into the hospitality segment, will soon begin building the biggest resort in North Bengal located at Gorumara. The Riverwood Forest Retreat in the same area on which Waxpol is presently working will reportedly get completed sometime this month post a few phases of expansion. The Waxpol Industries Limited already has an important resort in its portfolio and further wants to up the Sundarban Tiger Camp's room inventory.

'Since we started diversifying into the hospitality sector about eight years ago, our main interest is in the forests. We want to cash in on the forests of the state,' remarked Akanksha Garg, Vice President, Sundarban Tiger Camp. Garg added that they will next start their second project near Gorumara National Park in North Bengal and that this will be the biggest and the trendiest resort in the region.
