According to this research Kidney stones currently are most common in the southeastern part of US and in coming times it will spread to the northward and westward. The research carried out by urologist Margaret Pearle of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Centre in Dallas shows that there are reasons to anticipate that it would be happening worldwide. The research report reveals that there would be increase of up to 30% in kidney stone cases in some areas. More perplexing fact is by 2050 US will be treating Kidney patients at the tune of $1 billion per year which is a quarter percent increase.
