Director: Prabhu Deva
Producer: Boney Kapoor
Cast: Salman Khan, Ayesha Takia, Mahesh Manjrekar, Asseem Merchant, Sajid, Vinod Khanna, Mahek Chhal, Prakash Raj
Music: Sajid-Wajid
Background Score: Salim-Sulaiman

“Wanted – Dead Or Alive” is the remake of the super hit Tamil movie, Pokiri, which was directed by Prabhu Deva and had Vijay and Asin in the cast.

In the Hindi version, Salman Khan is donning the role donned by Vijay in tamil where as Ayesha Takia will be doing Asin’s role.

The music has been composed by Sajid-Wajid, who had given the super hit music for “Kal Kisne Dekha”.  Let us see if they are able to rekindle the same magic with the 8 number of Wanted.

The first track is "Dil Leke" which is slightly techo yet with adequate softness in it. Sung by Shaan and Shreya Ghoshal, they sound great throughout the whole song. There is also a remix version of the track which is great on dance floors.

"Ishq Vishq", the second number has a lot of techo and gives a feel of past movies of Salman Khan. The song paves the way for the return of Kamaal Khan who had sung the hit songs from most of Salman's films. You also get to hear Suzanne and Sunidhi Chauhan in the background.  This track also has a remix, but the original is better.

The track "Jalwa" carries a Punjabi touch in it. But the major problem with this track is that repeated echoing of Jalwa by Wajid annoys the listener. The On the House remix makes the track is so-so.

This next song "Le Le Maaza Le" is a mix of Middle Eastern music and Spanish vocals. The female vocals have been rendered by Suzanne, Soumya Raoh and Nikita Nigam and the male vocal by Hrishikesh Kamerkar. But it fails to provide the song with that punch that is projected.

"Love Me Love Me" is the best track in the bunch. Very similar to “My Love’ from Partner, this song has been recorded on the voices from Wajid and Amrita Kak. The Mama Papa Mix adds velocity to the song so that it is enjoyable on road.

This next track "The Most Wanted Track" is the one in the promos. Salman has sung some of the lyrics in the song. He does a great job making the track come to life with his voice.

The last track "Tose Pyaar Karte Hain" sung by Wajid and Sunidhi Chauhan is similar to a typical village song with lack of lustre. The Bhojpuri Makhan Mix of this track makes it a bit better for the dance floor but nothing great to cheer you up.

In total, I feel Sajid-Wajd has not done justice to a Salman Khan movie. You will never get a feel that you are hearing songs from a Salman Khan movie, as it lacks that zing.
