Vodafone is planning to add the Nokia N8 handset to their line of offerings for U.K. customers soon. Earlier, the company had introduced smartphones like iPhone 3G and BlackBerry to mobile buffs across the U.K.

 

The N8 boasts of a 3.5 inch touchscreen display and comes with a 12MP camera enhanced with Xenon flash. The other features associated with the set include Bluetooth, 16GB of internal memory, memory card slot, MP3 player, stereo FM radio, GPRS services, GPS navigation system, Java games, PC synchronization to backup important contacts and applications.

 

This Nokia set is also compatible with Vodafone Sat Nav, HSDPA and Mobile TV. With the set, users can record sound clips or memos too. The set offers talk time of about 720 minutes and standby time of approximately 390 hours.

 

However, the details like the launch date are still to be uncovered.
