Vodafone Essar has joined the list of telecom service providers who have launched the per second billing, after it rolled out the service for its prepaid customer of New Delhi and adjoining regions.

Vodafone Essar has joined the list of telecom service providers who have launched the per second billing, after it rolled out the service for its prepaid customer of New Delhi and adjoining regions.
 
The users will be charged 1 paisa per second for all local and STD calls. The current Vodafone users need to do a Rs 55 to avail this offer, whereas the new customers can do Rs. 54 recharge for going with the same.
 
Per-second billing was first started by the entry of Tata DoCoMo in Jun, with Airtel and Reliance Communications launching the same in the last two days.
 
 Vodafone had already introduced per second billing in some circles earlier this month.
 
Sanjay Warke, chief executive officer, Vodafone Essar– Delhi said, "Vodafone has always catered to the specific requirements of its customers. This recharge will enable our customers to enjoy calling their loved ones at an affordable call rate."
