Under the new scheme of Vodafone, the subscriber would be able to make phone calls even if they don’t have any balance in their account. According to the company sources, the Chhota Credit will enable the subscribers to make call in the event they do not have sufficient balance in their pre-paid account. To get the credit balance a subscriber has to have minimum 5 Rs balance. Further, customer has to send an SMS writing ‘CREDIT’ to toll free number 144. Thereafter credit amount of Rs 10 would be added into the account of the subscriber.
The credit comes with a validity of seven days and would be adjusted against the customers’ next recharge. Rupees 1 will be deducted from the balance as service charge for each transaction. However, according to the company sources, only those subscribers who have been on the Vodafone network for over three months can use the service.
