New York Republican Vito Fossella is being asked by people to quit ever since he recently admitted fathering a three-year old child from an extramarital affair. Cornered finally, the New York Republican now must decide if he really wants to provide answers to all the queries that the scandal is throwing up, in case he wishes to continue with his job. Recently when Vito Fossella confessed having a child outside his marriage, he also voiced his desire to continue being a part of the Congress for a long time to come.  

But the latest developments indicate that the Republican lawmaker may have to go sooner than he expected. House Minority Leader John Boehner pointedly said he expected Fossella to make a decision about his future this weekend. The truth about Vito Fossella came to light after he was stopped by the police for jumping a red light the previous week, following which he was charged with drunken driving. An investigation made on Vito Fossella brought to the forefront his affair with a former Air Force officer and a kid he had with her.
