India's champion chess player Viswanathan Anand has defeated Russian Vladimir Kramnik to register the first victory in the 12-game World Chess Championship final in Bonn on October 17, 2008. The Russian chess player was crushed by Anand in 41 moves. With this, the defending champion, Ananda leads the 12-game match by 2-1. Earlier in one of the matches both the champions have drawn. But this time Anand seemed to be more prepared and determine to counter ever move of the Russian player. Anand was having black pieces in this match
The Indian ace played the match with an aggressive manner. Although Vladimir Kramnik tried to dominate Anand but the champion player never gave him any such chances. Anand has actually planned out a strategy to defeat the Russian chess pro. He played the match very wittily and implemented his strategy with utmost disguise.
