Indian challange will be spearheaded by Vishnu Vardhan in the $10,000 International Tennis Federation (ITF) tournament at Delhi.
The maiden ITF of Vishnu, who is at number 451, came from match that had been in New Delhi last month. But he had failed to qualify for the main draw of the two Challenger events that happened in Brazil. He will face his Indian counterpart, P.C. Vignesh on Monday.
The other Indians who will be in the ITF include Rohan Gajjar, who had lost to Vishnu in the final, as well as Ranjeet Virali-Murugesan and Rupesh Roy are sixth and seventh seeds.
Six qualifying matches of the men's tournament had been put off on Sunday as there had been continuous rains. These matches will be played on Monday morning.
India's Ronak Manuja, S. Narayanaswamy, J. Nedunchezhiyan and Vivek Shokeen have been given the wildcards.
