Twinkle Khanna surprise party had lot of surprises for Khiladi Akshay. Akki celebrated his 43rd birthday yesterday with wife and close friends. A special 1975 vintage classic watch was one of the wonderful gifts which Akshay received from close friend and director Vipul Shah. The watch apparently costs 18 lakhs.
"Akshay Kumar came to the unveiling event of the first look of his next release Action Replayy yesterday. When one of his friends asked him about the new watch that he was flashing, he told him that it was gifted to him by director friend Vipul Shah. He said it was extremely sweet of him to do so. In fact he even joked that since the cost of the watch runs in lakhs, he hopes that he does not cut the money from his pay package”, a source reported.
Vipul Shah speaking about the expensive gift said, "All I can say is that more than anything else I am glad that Akshay wore the watch at the event. It was indeed very nice of him to do so. The cost of the watch is not important as it's a gift for a friend on his birthday.”
“Apart from being the star of my film, he is also a dear friend and since he has now worn it, it has become priceless for me."
